Making the Invisible visible |
I have a passion and a desire to help ministries produce high quality media that will reach those who may not step foot in a church. As Christians we are called to be excellent in what we do. My desire is to produce media for churches and ministries that will change the hearts of people by giving them the truth in a creative and unique way. The Lord opened the door for me to join a very talented team at CBN in 2008. I worked with a team and as a one-man-band on shoots all around the US and the world, shooting mini documentary style testimonies for CBN's 700 Club and live breaking news for CBN News. I was able to develop my skills as I worked in the field with many experienced shooters and producers. One day we would be running off adrenaline covering a hurricane or earthquake and the next day we would be creatively lighting an interview and staging dramatic reenactments to tell story of a life transformed by Chist. I began as a level one videographer and when I moved in 2011, I was a level 3 senior videographer. My passion again is really media in ministries. Churches try to stay current with the digital world, but tend to fall behind. They have people with a vision, and people who are willing to pursue that vision, but they don't have the training to reach the vision. My desire is to take what I have learned out in the field and from the mentors I've been privileged to work under and train up a new generation of people to produce high quality media. |
A love for media began growing in my heart while I was in high school. I moved to Chicago, IL after finishing high school to begin a year long video internship with Bill Gothard's ministry, IBLP. I was able to train under some great men of God who had a passion for Christian media. I continued working there for 2 years as a LIve event director, videographer and editor. I moved to CBN's Jerusalem News Bureau in 2011 as a videographer/editer. I traveled around Israel telling stories about the Holy Land that are not told on other networks. I have the privilege to meet with people who are living proof of Biblical prophecy. In 2012, I became the Production Manager as well as lead videographer/editor. I have been able to travel travel throughout the middle east shooting stories with refugees and Jewish imagrants returning to Isarel. I've been blessed to be able to work in church media ministries since 2006. I began running cameras in Chicago with Christ Church. When I moved to Virginia Beach, I worked on videos for special church events and holidays as well as running the sound board for services. In Israel, I work with King of Kings in Jerusalem as the service director for the live stream and tv broadcasts. I also am an instructor at Kings School of Media that is run by King of Kings. |
